Tobermore United

Tobermore entertained Glebe Rangers at Fortwilliam Park last Saturday and in the end a draw was probably a fair outcome.

Tobermore's Sammy Foster was the busier of the two keepers in a drab first 45 minutes and he did exceptionally well to keep out Adam McCart's bullet header on 15 minutes.

Neil Lamont and Hugo Batista both had half chances for Cookstown-sponsored Tobermore, but their efforts didn't cause Matt McGraw any trouble in the visitor's goals.

Mark Anderson gave Rangers the lead 20 minutes into the second half when he pounced on a defensive mistake inside Tobermore's penalty box, giving Foster no chance with a crisp finish.

At 80 minutes McGraw frustrated Sean Henneghan with a good save, but the big keeper could only punch the ball from the resulting corner and it fell kindly to Gary Donaldson who smashed it back through a ruck of players to square things up.
